Tasks
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders (quality managers, contract managers, engineers, supply chain managers, production and logistics coordinators) as well as programme representatives and warehouse operators
- Carrying out forecasting activities and inventory management
- Placing and carefully tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery and process efficiency
- Support in the implementation of new parts with the multifunctional teams
- Management and monitoring of rework and strategic buffers in collaboration with suppliers
- Identifying and resolving recurring issues
- Participating in performance review meetings and dedicated meetings with suppliers
- Conducting reporting activities and analysing data to support strategic decisions and improve operational performance
Qualification
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain / Logistics
- Alternatively, successfully completed commercial training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant or industrial clerk with many years of professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management and supply chain / logistics
- Advanced user knowledge in MS Office, SAP and familiarity with Google Workspace as well as specific expertise in SAP PGI/PDA are required
- Very good knowledge of German and business fluent English
- Willingness to travel (3-5 times a year)
- Existing work permit for the European Union
