What you can expect
- You will be responsible for processing and supporting our tax compliance system
- You will be involved in the analysis, optimization and further development of accounting processes
- For our employees in Accounting, Controlling and Payroll you serve as technical support on tax law issues
- You act as an interface to our external tax consultants and auditors
- Your tasks will also include assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (in accordance with HGB & IFRS) as well as annual audits and external tax audits
- You will be responsible for preparing tax returns and advance tax returns as well as balance sheet accounting including asset accounting
- You will work independently on individual questions from various areas of tax law
This is what you bring along
- You have a degree in business administration in the field of finance and accounting, alternatively you have completed commercial training as a tax clerk or tax specialist.
- We would also like to see relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- You are very familiar with HGB & IFRS accounting and no one can fool you in tax law either
- You have experience in the consolidation of a group of companies
- You know common MS Office products, especially Excel, like the back of your hand
- You are characterized by an independent way of working, high quality standards and technical affinity
- Initial experience of working with Workday would be a great plus
- You are proficient in both written and spoken German and English
