Security Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
In this role you will be the driving force ensuring that all security system requirements of a satellite project are met and compliant. You will be the interface between customer, subcontractors and internal system architects coordinating all security system activities and offering technical guidance.
- Technical management, coordination and control over the security engineering activities
- Control, planning, specification and verification of function and performance of security-related systems
- Critical review and analysis of customer security requirements and flow down of the security requirements to subsystem and equipment level
- Technical coordination of security-related tasks with customer, subcontractors and internal technical disciplines
- Provide input for progress reports and meetings and contribute to the project risk management in regards to security matters
- Define test specifications for security tests and verification in alignment with AIT operation plans
- Support security-related preparations of satellite tests and test reviews as well as on-site support of launch and flight phases
Your Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
- Professional experience in satellite design advantageous
- Good conceptual and problem solving skills
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
- High motivation, pro-active working approach and strong sense of responsibility
- Team-minded and ideally accustomed to work in internationally composed team
- Fluency in both spoken and written English, German language skills are highly desirable
