Assistant Designer (m/f/d)
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
Assist the Brand Expression team to design and produce industry leading creative solutions for assigned projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute design solutions for assigned specialty area or project
- Assist in creating design solutions for variety of touchpoints (internal and external): 2D, retail, digital, motion
- Assist with the executing of the production stages of creative, ensuring creative excellence and technical precision throughout the project
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer and brand focus
- Assist on conceptual work, being an active voice and bringing to life your point of view in creative sessions
- Creating 3D concept representation, 3D assets, digital product information for an accurate development and decision-making process
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Computer skills (Mac: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office)
- Basic skills (and interest) in photography, animation, coding, or 3D rendering of benefit
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to think and design conceptually
- Ability to design for new initiatives with a fresh, innovative perspective
- Knowledge of consumer, trends and styles
- Knowledge of digital trends and communication channels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual tools are required
APP tools : Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools
FTW tools : Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar 3D design tools
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree and/or advanced experience in Graphic or Communication Design, or related Design specialty
- Minimum 2 years work experience in the creative field
- Experience and understanding of end-to-end design process preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and/or training may be substituted for degree
- Language: English: excellent
- Passion for adidas and its mission
