Job Description
Which tasks are waiting for you?
- Design and develop batch & real-time Data-Driven products with state-of-the-art technologies like Kafka, Spark etc.
- Software development
- Project implementation on-premises and in the cloud
- Daily work with agile project management tools (ex. SCRUM)
- Delivering big data projects to clients in various industries
- Contributing to the internal innovation projects
What do we expect from you?
- Minimum five years of experience in the area of Big Data
- Alternatively 3 years in Big Data and 2 years in software engineering or similar
- Very good knowledge of data processing systems, databases, and current technologies
- Competent handling of data
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Information Management or in similar qualifications
- Openness to occasional travel
- German, English: fluent in speaking & writing
- Competence in the following technologies:
- Apache Spark and / or Apache Kafka (Confluent)
- Big Data Infrastructure either on-premises (Hadoop) or cloud (AWS, Azure)
- Java / Scala development
- Very good user of Linux
