IMC is a leading global market maker using algorithmic trading and advanced technology to trade across multiple venues worldwide. We provide liquidity to the crypto and traditional financial markets, driving efficiencies for buyers and sellers.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop data pipeline systems: Collaborate on developing market and trading data pipeline systems, both in batch mode and streaming mode.
- Data pipeline extension: Extend data pipelines to multiple exchanges/platforms and across different areas of application.
- Collaboration: Work closely together with other engineers and researchers, providing efficient data solutions for our research- and trading operations.
- Continuous improvement: Test and improve data quality, reduce data ingestion latency.
Requirements
Education and experience: Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related technical field. Industry experience in big data would be a big plus.
- Programming: Proficient programming experience in Java/Scala, Python, Go, C++.
- Data pipelines: Skills in data pipeline technologies such as Spark, Flink and Kafka.
- Infrastructure: Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Language: You are absolutely fluent in English and enjoy working in an international team
- Drive: You are eager to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
